The ROCK Committee (Recognizing Outstanding Character and Kindness) is a staff-led initiative at Fairview dedicated to supporting and recognizing the team members who care for our residents every day.
WHAT ROCK DOES
Through monthly appreciation events, recognition programs, and support initiatives, ROCK helps boost morale, reduce stress, and create a more positive workplace— ultimately improving staff retention and reducing turnover. This consistency benefits residents by ensuring familiar faces, stronger relationships, and a higher quality of care.
HOW TO SUPPORT

FEATURE: GOAT OF THE MONTH
With nominations open to both staff and residents, team members vote for their peers, and the winner receives a GOAT t-shirt, trophy, and Amazon gift care encouraging a culture of appreciation, teamwork, and accountability across campus.
Kids’ Closet provides free clothing and essentials for the children of our staff. With the rising cost of everyday items, this program helps ease financial pressure and supports the families behind the people who care for our residents.
ROCK also organizes larger efforts, such as the annual staff holiday party, where all employees are recognized for their dedication with gifts and tiered Amazon gift cards based on years of service. Around the holidays, staff also receive gift cards to help with increased seasonal expenses, including Thanksgiving.
